Women Helping Women
There
are currently more that 800,000 women entrepreneurs in canada and this figure has been growing at an average annual rate of
3.3 per cent since 1989. The number of women-run businesses has been rising 60 per cent faster than those run by men over
the past 15 yrs. The Organization of Women Entrepreneurs of Chateauguay intends to serve the interests
of women entrepreneurs. Our vision is to promote and foster the success of these women by connecting like-minded
peers to share ideas,
information
and opportunities.

Currently, WEChateauguay offer two
services. The first, our Monthly Brunch Seminar, is offered to ANY woman in business for herself, regardless of whether
you are an entrepreneur, franchisee, or catalogue representative. Everyone is welcomed to join us on the last Sunday
of every month for a couple of hours at Nobel Restaurant in Chateauguay, where you can network with other women entrepreneurs,
and learn from a monthly guest speaker. Please check our Events section for all the details. Our second
service is the organization of an Annual Women Entrepreneur's Exhibition. This event is reserved for women classified
as 'entrepreneurs', those owning their own business name strictly within the Chateauguay area. This exhibition serves
to introduce the community to the many resourceful and talented women in business for themselves. If you are interested
